HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING OR AN ENQUIRY?

Blue Beck Cottage, Egton Bridge is owned by a North Yorkshire Estate. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service so don’t hesitate to contact us with any queries

WHAT TIME CAN I ACCESS THE COTTAGE WHEN ARRIVING AND WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO DEPART ON THE FINAL DAY?

Access to Blue Beck Cottage is any time after 3pm on day of arrival and we ask that you leave by 10am on your final day. We may be able to arrange other times, if these are not convenient for you.

CAN I STAY ANY DAYS OF THE WEEK?

Yes, holidays can begin on any day, subject to availability, but we do ask for a minimum of a four night stay.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN STAY AT BLUE BECK COTTAGE?

Your total cottage cost is for any number of guests up to 8 adults and 2 babies. Baby cots and high chairs are provided upon request.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS NOT LISTED IN THE FAQ’S?

PLEASE ASK! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and if you need anything not covered by these questions we will do our very best to help you out – from rearranging the furniture to providing flowers on arrival.

HOW SHOULD I CONTACT YOU IF I HAVE QUERIES OR PROBLEMS DURING THE STAY?

All contact details for our office are listed at the cottage as well as further emergency contacts if required.

DO YOU PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS?

Yes, just let us know beforehand that you have young children amongst your guests and we will ensure travel cots, high chairs and children’s safety fire guard are all at the cottage ready for your use.

CAN WE BRING OUR DOG WITH US?

We are very pleased to welcome well behaved dogs in the downstairs rooms at Blue Beck Cottage. We have water bowls, dog beds, etc, if you require them – just let us know before your stay.

IS SMOKING ALLOWED AT BLUE BECK COTTAGE?

No, we do not allow smoking on the premises. The ONLY smoking place is on the terrace outside of the cottage.

IS FREE WIFI AVAILABLE?

Yes, the Wi-Fi name and password is displayed in the cottage handbook and access gives you internet availability throughout Blue Beck Cottage.

ARE BEDDING AND TOWELS PROVIDE FREE OF CHARGE?

Yes, all beds have hypo-allergenic pillows and quilts with high quality bedding and throws. There are plenty of towels but if you need more please let us know. We also provide beach towels. These are allocated in the cupboard upstairs.

IS THERE A WASHING MACHINE AT THE COTTAGE?

Yes, there is a washing machine as well as a dryer. They are allocated in the bothy opposite the cottage.

We also provide a dishwasher which is in the utility room behind the kitchen.

DO YOU HAVE A HAIR DRYER?

Yes, a hairdryer is in the master bedroom downstairs.

DO YOU PROVIDE FUEL FOR THE OPEN FIRE?

Yes, you will find kindling, logs and coal in the bothy opposite Blue Beck Cottage. There is also spare wood kept next to the double garage. Please read the safety notes in the handbook.

ARE SOME ESSENTIAL PROVISIONS PROVIDED?

Yes, there will be a welcome pack of essentials in the kitchen when you arrive with our compliments.  Sainsbury’s and Co-operative supermarkets at Whitby do deliveries to Blue Beck Cottage.

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?

Blue Beck Cottage has a garage as well as an outside parking space for up to 4 cars.

CAN I STORE MY DIRTY WALKING BOOTS AND WET CLOTHES SOMEWHERE SAFE?

Yes, you can hang wet items in the bothy opposite the cottage.

CAN I STORE MY BICYCLE SECURELY?

Yes, we have got space for up to 8 bikes, which can be store on the wall racks in the garage.

IS THERE LOCAL INFORMATION AT THE COTTAGE?

Yes, we have a guest handbook and information file plus lots of local guides and leaflets with ideas for days out, walks and cycling
